Becoming a mom to Chloe was a life-changing experience, and like any new parent, I found myself drowning in a sea of advice on how to navigate the newborn stage. Amidst the well-intentioned suggestions from family, friends, and the vast world of the internet, one piece of advice stood out—the 'nappy disposal system.' Let me tell you, it became my go-to lifesaver for handling Chloe's diapers with ease (and yes, it's still a game-changer in our daily routine!).
Initially, it was fantastic—efficient, odor-free, and a space-saver. But with its use, I started noticing a few drawbacks that didn't quite align with my busy lifestyle:
- Space Woes: Storing all those refills took up a significant amount of space, and let's face it, we already needed a storage solution for diapers alone!
- Environmental Impact: The system came with an unintended consequence—more trash and plastic. Not exactly the eco-friendly choice I was hoping for.
- Size Matters: The bags were not as roomy as I needed them to be and was quickly running out of refills.
- Cost Concerns: And then there was the ongoing cost of each refill bag, adding up over time and impacting the pocket.
That's when the spark for our business was ignited! We set out to create a space-saving, eco-conscious, and budget-friendly solution tailored for the dynamic lives of young professional parents. We wanted to start from one of our first problems, to provide a solution that could help many more people.
